About The Festival
The European Film Festival in Ethiopia is held annually and hosts a selection of European films that promote culture each year. This year’s festival showcased 18 prime movies selected by the following participating European countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden as well as a movie selected by the EU Delegation to the African Union. The broad selection of movies portrays Europe’s diversity in arts, culture and history. The Festival shall also revolve around the values that Europe wishes to promote: peace, dialogue, tolerance and compassion.
